• Prevent PDF "Save As" - Users cannot copy or save your PDF document as a new name.
• No Temp File - Did you know that many popular document security systems can be easily bypassed by just going to your Windows® "Temp" folder? When a file is opened, an unprotected copy is saved in that folder. Any savvy user can simply grab the unprotected file from there. File Secure Pro eliminates this huge problem by not saving an unprotected copy of the file anywhere!
  
  Some systems state that they do not save a copy of the file to the temp folder, but in our testing we have found that most do , even if they say they don't. Please verify this for yourself and do not use any system that does this.
• Prevent Copying of Text and Images in PDF Files - Users cannot copy any material from your PDF documents onto the clipboard UNLESS you allow them to do so. Users are also prevented from taking screen captures or video captures while viewing your PDF document.
• Advanced PDF Printing Control - This is probably the most advanced feature of any document protection system available. When protecting PDF files, it puts you in control of:
  1. Whether or not the user has the ability to print the file.
  2. How many times the user can print.
  3. How long after file registration must the user wait before printing is available.
  4. Prevents the user from printing-to-file, printing-to-PDF and printing-to- TIFF.

• Extensive Watermarking - If you allow the user to print your PDF document, you can choose what watermark appears on all printed pages. This can't be removed by your user and can consist of your privacy notice, company name, website, or anything you wish. It is added protection against unauthorized distribution of the printed page.

Customer Care Features

• Advanced database searches.
  Advanced search filters allow for various user searches which will generate very specific lists of users which meet specific criteria. You are then able to export that list of user data for offline marketing, or you can use one of the File Secure Pro marketing elements to contact that list.
• Send non-email message or web page to users.
  Once you generate your list of specific users, you will then be able to define a message to be displayed when your user opens their file for viewing. It is not an email, but rather a communication system that sends the message directly to the document itself.
  
  You can send broad message to a group of users, or send specific messages to users of specific files. This allows you to contact your clients/users each time they open your file. They are receptive to what you have to say and the non- obtrusive messages can be a welcome reminder or nudge for the client or customer.
• Push URLS to users.
  In addition to being able to send users complete messages, you can also automatically redirect their browser to a specific website or online file. This happens instantly when the user accesses your file.
• Send file to specific users.
  This allows you to instantly register a single user or a group of users to a new file and then instantly email them the download link to the file.
• Create future users.
  Allows you to generate a set number of passwords for a file and then export that list of passwords to a txt file. This is excellent for those who want to sell their electronic document in bulk. For example, your client can purchase a set number of files and they are simply provided with the set number of passwords for that file. You are assured that there will be no additional accesses for that file since each password can work only once. This feature can also be used for those distributing files via CD-ROM. You simply print one password per CD. When the user registers at a future date, you are then able to monitor and control their access as you see fit.
• Subscribe to your autoresponder.
  When a user registers a file, you can have them automatically subscribe to any autoresponder you specify.
• Group Distribution.
  This feature allows you to distribute files in groups. If a customer orders File A, then you can automatically send them File B and File C also if you wish. This is ideal for products that consist of more than one document. Each file will be protected and monitored by the system.
• Custom Branding.
  When you create a protected file, you can choose any icon you wish for your document. Use your own custom icons, or use our default File Secure Pro icon.
